This is the interview…

Standard

Well, I’ve had a sleep, calmed down and watched the interview again.  With even just this much time I can see that while it wasn’t much of a story on eating disorders (but then what can you do with two minutes?), it’s actually pretty good with regard to promoting the book.

Take a look here and tell me what you think.

  1. OK – they didn’t really talk about the book that much and they got the name wrong, but they did show it and that fabulous cover is as eyecatching as ever.

What really struck me though was hearing Willow say it’s about self-choice, about being ready to receive help and wanting to change. I’ve had some rough times in the past and I had to come to the same realisation; that only I could really help myself. I reckon there was at least one person watching that story who needed to hear that message from someone like Willow and, today, that person has decided to change, to help herself, to get out of the hole. Little moments like that can make all the difference. 🙂

    • Yes, you’re absolutely right. Willow REALLY didn’t want to do this interview, but I think she delivered the most important line in the entire piece. Interestingly, she also told this to the newspaper reporter who did the article in the QT (who incidentally, had more time and words to devote to an article) and who decided that wasn’t an important quote to use!
